Pet Boarding

At Leander Vet Clinic, we not only offer veterinary services, but also offer boarding.

  • Separate Feline Ward
  • Full Veterinarian Services While Boarding
  • Indoor Boarding Kennels
  • Four Full Dog Runs
  • Dogs Walked Three Times Daily
  • Enclosed Exercise Yard
  • Small Boarding Facility For More Pet Attention
  • Sick Animals Remain Separate From Healthy Ones
  • We Treat Your Pet Like Family

We have a separate feline ward so our feline patients and residents are not stressed out by barking dogs. We offer veterinary services for boarders should they need it. All of our boarding kennels are indoors and we have accommodations for up to about 30 dogs with four dog runs for larger boarders. Dogs are walked three times a day in an enclosed, grassy area so they can get plenty of exercise and attention.
We have a smaller boarding facility by design because we like to keep our number of residents to a manageable number. This way, we always know what is going on with each and every one of our boarders. We treat our boarders as we do our own pets. It is very important to us that our boarders are relaxed and enjoy their time with us so their people can feel confident that they’re in good hands.
At our vet clinic in Leander, we have a wide variety of individuals that we serve ranging from young college kids that have to go out of town for a few days to families with a few dogs and cats that need to travel for one reason or another without their pets. We want to make sure that our clients have a place where they can take their pet while they are away and know their furry family member can be well cared for. We treat these guys as family because that is what they deserve and are accustomed to.

When you bring in your pets to board with us, this is often a great time to get them up to speed on their routine care them while they are here. This might include a teeth cleaning, nail clipping, heartworm testing, vaccinations, bathing, and or any other procedure other procedure that you would like done while they are staying with us.

Leander Veterinary Clinic is also the ideal place to board for pets that have a medical condition that requires some extra care and attention. All of our boarders are kept under direct supervision by a veterinarian.

We keep any sick or contagious animals well separated in a different area of the clinic from our healthy pets, both so they can get the care they need and so there is no chance of your healthy boarder getting sick while they are here.
